  • Austin Cottage

  • Only 2 blocks from downtown, this property offers three individual cottages.
    The main house has two queen size beds, sitting area, living area, one bath with kitchen including, microwave, coffee maker, coffee, snack, hot chocolate, refrigerator.   Cottage #2 has a sitting area with sofa bed, breakfast room with microwave, coffee maker,and small refrigerator.  Bedroom has a king size bed, private bath with pedestal tub and shower.  Private entrance, and parking.  Cottage #3 has a sitting area refrigerator,microwave, coffee maker and coffee. King size bed with private bath, pedestal tub and standing shower.  private parking, and private entrances.   Innkeeper provides a home baked continental breakfast with freshly baked breads, variety of fruits, hot and cold cereals, hot chocolate or hot tea, and a variety of condiments.

  • Each cottage offers its own small kitchen area, sitting area, private bath, queen-sized bed, and front porch for rocking. Continental breakfast is available to assure that you have escaped the daily stress of being on a schedule and enjoy your own private solitude.
  • Captains Castle

  • The Captains Castle, also known as the Rogers-McCasland home, was so named by Captain Thomas J. Rogers, a Confederate officer and local pioneer banker. This colorful old home, furnished with many antiques of the period, has a Texas Historical Survey Medallion and is listed in the National Register of homes worthy of preservation. The Main House has three rooms available and four more located in the Carriage House and Cottage in the back overlooking the gardens and gazebo. Coffee and muffins are brought to your door and a complimentary gourmet breakfast follows.
  • Captains Quarters

  •  A Louisiana style cottage that is very private. Lovely private porch with rockers. Four blocks from downtown. Cottage has queen size bed, desk, VCR, television, microwave and refrigerator. Private bath with tub and shower. Breakfast upon request to your cottage.

    • Built in 1850 and has been in continuous operation since 1852 offers upstairs and downstairs accommodations in full size and queen beds.  Telephones, T.     Faded Rose

  • Enjoy the charm of a 1920's house. A swing on the wide front porch invites you to sit a spell, enjoy refreshments on arrival, a morning cup of coffee, or just relax and enjoy the "quiet". Rose theme decor includes antiques and family treasures. A dried rose is placed on the pillow for each lady guest. There are two guestrooms with private baths, TV, and ceiling fans. The piano in the living room is yours to enjoy, too. A hearty breakfast is served every morning in the dining room.

  • Built in 1870, for Charles A. Culberson, 20th governor of Texas, the classic Greek revival style home has glorious accommodations. Common areas include a Victorian parlor, entry halls and formal dining room.   • Hale House

  • A Carpenter Gothic built in 1865 and furnished in antiques with spacious guestrooms with queen beds, 1 room with twin beds, and private baths. Early coffee & full breakfast.   • House of the Seasons

  • Built in 1872, this is a fine example of the transition period between the Greek Revival and Victorian styles of architecture. The most interesting interior feature of the house is the dome containing beautiful frescoes. The carriage house has been turned into four spacious suites, the Victorian Garden Room, Country Charm Room, Miss Jeanie's Room and Sweet Lucinda's Room. All suites have private entrances, private baths with showers, whirlpool tubs, color cable TV, individual heating and cooling systems, ceiling fans, antique furnishings and family heirlooms. Guests receive a complimentary tour of the House of the Seasons, full breakfast, and afternoon tea and lemonade.  
  • Jefferson Hotel

    • Downtown in old Jefferson sits a 23 room 1872 hotel.  Rooms consist of full size , queen and king beds, upstairs and downstairs rooms available to fit your needs. “Best Haunted Vacation Sites” says this is the place!  Restaurant on property.

    Marsh House

  • This 1860's house has a historical medallion issued by the Texas Historical Commission and is situated only 7½ blocks from the historic downtown of Jefferson.  This NO pet, NO smoking home has three wonderful antique rooms with just a flare of country.   Two rooms have queen size beds, and private baths. The third room being handicap accessible has a full size bed and a twin bed.  Doors are wide and the bath is private with a shower.  Two rooms can be used for connecting suites if needed.   Room rates are $85.00 and $95.00 plus tax, and each extra person is $10.00 with rollaway available for $20.00.  A gourmet sit down breakfast is at 9:00 a.m. in the main dining room.  Government rates are availale and entire house can be rented by week-end or by the week. 
    Check in time is 3:00 p.m.    Check out is by 11:00 a.m.

  • Winborn Haven

    • Situated in a lovely wooded area within walking distance of downtown historic Jefferson, Winborn Haven was built by Joseph H. Updergraph between April, 1854 and November, 1858, making the original home approximately 140 years old. As was common in the mid 1800's, the home consisted of two rooms and a dogtrot and was architecturally described as a "Texas Prairie" house. Throughout the ensuing years, various owners added three more rooms and a screened in porch.
