Has Historical Marker from Texas Historical Commission.
Freeman Plantation
Hwy. 49 West
Built in 1850 by Williamson M Freeman on one thousand acres of land in the greek Revival
Style. Built by slave labor, the clay floor was molded by hand.
Twin Oaks Plantation
Hwy. 134
An elaborate colonial home with southern Greek Revival feeling. The Plantation sits
on 6 acres copied from the original plans of 1859.
Mead-Heaster House

A newer home with American Oak and primatives. This home features a wonder
collection of hand carved Santa's.
